Hadimba Temple, Manali
It is the temple of Goddess Hadimba, the wife of the second Pandava Bheem and mother of Ghatotkach who played a major role in the Mahabharata. The temple in Manali was built in 1553, is a somber wooden structure in a clearing dense forest of towering trees. It is also known as Dhungri Temple, and serves as a site for a major festival held in the month of May which usually stays crowded due to being peak season.
